Patients and family members wishing to obtain an english or french copy of Cope with Cancer FREE OF CHARGE can call the Canadian Cancer Society’s Cancer Information Service at 1-888-939-3333. The bilingual service is available Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Canadian Cancer Society is a national, community-based organization of volunteers whose mission is the eradication of cancer and the enhancement of the quality of life of people living with cancer.

Minimum system requirements to run the Cope with Cancer CD-ROM are as follows:

PC: 486-33 processor or better (Pentium recommended), Windows 3.1 & Windows 95. 256 colours (thousands of colours recommended), 640x480, 8Mb of RAM, sound card required. Read the "Readme.txt" file.

Macintosh: 256 colours (thousands of colours recommended), 8Mb of RAM, QuickTime 2.5.Read the "READ_ME" file.

The CD-ROM was developed by Digital Rain, an award-winning multimedia company, with the direction of an Advisory Board of prominent cancer care experts and patients.
