Title: Biovail University Client: Biovail Industry: Pharmaceutical Purpose: Training

The challenge:
Biovail needed a simple, effective way to track and manage the training evaluation for their sales teams. Sales Managers and students (sales representatives) were spread out across the country, so the application had to be easily accessible and up-to-date. Results of the assessments needed to captured in a way that would allow Biovail to print off reports.

The requirements of the Online Testing Forum included:

• Secure environment (login access)

• The ability to create and schedule tests online with no programming knowledge
  
• A navigation function that allows participants to move throughout the test
  
• A help section available to users throughout the test
  
• A database component to track test results
  
• An administration section for Biovail to check test results and print simple reports

Digital Rain's response:
Digital Rain developed a web-based application for the training department of Biovail in order to aid Biovail assess and track student performance on training material. A secure administration function provides trainers and course administrators with the tools to create and schedule tests online with little effort and no knowledge of programming.

Students register, sign-up and write tests online. Once a test has been written, both course trainers and students get immediate feedback regarding the student's results.
