The challenge:
Digital Rain was selected to architect and build a new web site for Keanall Industries, North America's largest BBQ and BBQ accessories distributor in Canada. The site was intended to act as an information resource for Grill Care's consumers, providing them with helpful information relating to their BBQs, as well as information about Grill Care's extensive line of products. In addition, the site needed to be easily updateable by Keanall staff without the need for programming skills.

Digital Rain's response:
DRI met with Keanall to determine the goals of the site, as well as the target audience requirements. The new Grill Care web site provides users with detailed information about Keanall, its products and distributors, as well as a wealth of additional BBQ-related information, including recipes, grilling tips, maintenance tips, installation instructions, and much more.
The site is entirely database-driven, and can be managed via an online, browser-based content management system. This system permits Keanall staff to effectively manage the site's text and graphical content without the need for programming knowledge.

Among the site highlights are:

  • an intuitive site structure that allows users to quickly and easily access information
  • step-by-step BBQ attribute selection processes that help users find appropriate burner and grid replacement parts
  • instant, online site content management
