To allow staff to "self-publish" (add,

and feel targeting Motorcyclist. To align the look with their major vendors. |

The challenge:
Liberty Marketing required an online presence that was designed to better
reflect their vendors target audience than their existing site currently
provided. The target, motorcycle enthusiast retail outlets.
The product lines that Liberty Marketing provides to retail merchants, are
constantly rotating based on availability, profitability and popularity.
Profitable and regular products needed consistent updating, and "supply
and demand" dictated that less active products be cleared in a managed
process. This "maintenance heavy" requirement represented a
significant ongoing expense thereby motivating management to look for ways to
provide immediate control of all listings.
Digital Rain's response:
Design; As part of the design cycle, DRI explored Liberty Marketing's
competitive marketplace and provided design concepts that were then adjusted as
per clients direction and their perceptions for the desired impact. DRI also
promoted an often overlooked success ratio of all sites. Site Navigation.
Regardless of the complexities of the technology "behind the scenes",
navigation must be simple to the user and must control how the user is directed
during the online visit in order to stimulate the desired outcomes. In this
case, it is to expose many high quality accessories, quickly, and in a way that
helps increase a visual desire to buy.
Site Technology; The technology "behind the scenes" allows Liberty
Marketing staff to "Login" with secure pass codes, anywhere that they
can gain access to the internet (onsite, at tradeshows or at supply houses etc.
"Instant to Market"). The "manager/admin" "login"
site allows them to add, edit, change information and product descriptions and,
post images, in real time. Once the manager submits, all New inputs update what
is currently on the site, instantly. An option often required with this type of
dynamic control is, that on submission by a staff member, the updates are then
submitted to a product, or marketing manager for confirmation. This is all done
in a manner that does not require any programming whatsoever. All elements can
be entered as text based, or simple "cut and paste" for content and
digital images of products.
What this meant to Liberty Marketing:
With a well planned marketing announcement to all customers and prospects,
Liberty Marketing realized a surprising surge in online and toll free inquiries
for catalogs and distribution applications within the first week of launch. An
outcome and challenge all businesses covet.
Although Liberty Marketing was clear on the outcome desired from our proposal,
they are amazed by the simplicity, flexibility and power they now have over
their own site content.
